Good morning~
February 21st, 2012
It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself in the middle of spiritual warfare? It appears as if you are catching hell on every side. No matter what you do, how you do it, when you do it, where you do it, or why you do it, things appear chaotic in your life. The people you thought would always be there for you are now turning against you. The job you thought was secure is now in jeopardy. The little money you had in the bank is now almost gone. What do you do? Where do you turn? The more you attempt to do, the worse things appear to be. Its warfare. You are under satanic attack and no one can help you but the Lord. Have you ever endured so much assault until you were begging God to take you out? You had no more strength to fight. There were days when you did not want to get out of bed or leave the house. Just tired of being tired. Have you ever been there? Are you there now?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Life has a way of forcing you to pray. As long as things are going well in each of our lives, we tend to stray from our prayer closets. As long as we are not being attacked, we do not feel the need to seek the Lord for daily guidance and direction. But when life hits us with an uppercut, we instantly run to our Father for protection. Isn’t it amazing how our Father’s loving arms are avoided when we are on the mountaintop, but as soon as we are knocked down into the valley we are screaming for His help? Now we want to fast and pray. Now we want to pay our tithes. Now we want to attend church faithfully. Now we want to treat others with respect. My friend, Are You Faking or Faithful? The Bible declares in Luke 16:10 - He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
My brother, my sister, do you realize God knows if you are really sincere? Do you realize God knows if your promises are sincere? Child of God, the body of Christ is missing true faithfulness. We show more faithfulness to our churches, but not our God. We are more faithful to our jobs, but not our God. We show more faithfulness to our spouses, but not our God. We display more faithfulness to the world, but not our God. Beloved, it is the Lord who makes all you have possible. What is church without the presence of God? What is your job without God’s presence? What is your life without the Lord’s involvement? Are You Faking or Faithful? The Bible declares in Lamentations 3:22-23 - It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. Today, you have another chance to increase your faithfulness toward the Lord.
Scripture Reading for Today: 1 John 1:9
